Long processing times and post-process machine cleaning are followed by problems such as low repeatability rates in desired results, usage of sulfur not allowing the desired bright tones, low light fastness, and rubbing fastness in medium and dark tones in pigmented dyeings.

Additionally, the main problems in the process of producing garments made of dyed fabrics are the high range of water usage and extra washing requirement in washing processes, high wastewater load, chemicals usage for bleaching and accordingly undesirable color changes in clothes, no reproducibility, and finally, the risks for worker health.

What is Reactive Dyeing and Ozone Wash?

Thanks to its specialty, when the reactive dye reacts with ozone, it makes different effects and bleaching on the garment. Reactive dyeing includes a stage in which we plan the effect color that will appear in the washing or bleaching appearance desired. Thus, we prevent surprises that are accounted for after the washing process from the beginning.

The reactive dyed fabric that is slightly wetted reacts with the ozone and the garment takes bleaching effects. The ozone washing process, which has almost zero water consumption, makes it possible to adjust the desired bleaching degree, and extra washing needs are eliminated after bleaching. In addition, the ozone washing process provides practicality because of the reproducibility and achieving the desired appearance with repetitions.
